Lesson 1: Intent Before Invent
A good strategy, that is, one likely to get the outcome you want, will start with aligning your customer strategy, your opportunities, your top capabilities, the best ways to turn those capabilities into value, and getting your team and processes in tune with that.

Lesson 2: Defining Intent
People work best when there is clarity and when there are constraints. If the team knows what good looks like, or what the destination should be, and there are constraints defining broad desirable and undesirable outcomes, it is easier for brains to compute and collaborate towards possibilities.

Introducing your expert guides
Jason Borowicz and the Lead by Design team merge the best thinking from Human Centered Design practice, Lean Green Belt, and Better Business Case along with field tested learning techniques to create courses that will assist you with something real you are working on - right now.
The CEO / buyer and their team have access to this course for one year post the start of an engagement with Lead by Design, and the course is available for use as a Learning and Development tool for organizations to use with their own facilitator or one of Lead by Design’s expert facilitators.
Lead by Design runs a two part boot camp to license facilitators, designed to allow people already familiar with facilitation to learn to facilitate Lead by Design frameworks and tools with minimal business disruption.

We establish intent and agree on value. Then we work with your team to build a business case based on customer research, employee participation, and current performance analysis. We work with the team to find what is working and bring that forward into a program of accelerated delivery, allowing the customer to define the solution alongside your business experts.

Pricing depends on a couple of things, mostly timeline and agreed value. While we have a couple of fixed price engagement offers, our guaranteed results come only in the boutique pricing model…but generally price is around 1/10 of 1% of the agreed on value, though we always supply options for boutique engagement.

While resource commitment depends on business allocation and operational need to a large extent, our model allows your team to shift focus into or away from your chosen initiative.
We have learned how to in-source project work in ways that accelerate the work and gain early and sustained buy-in.
In short, we find our engagements to last about 40% the time of our competition requires, require about 20% more time from staff than the competition (but delivers faster), and cost 30-50% what the competition charges.

We agree on outcomes prior to a proposal. About 90% of our proposals are accepted because of our up-front, transparent and flat fee approach to consulting.
We incentivize your teams to use our expertise, and we aim to improve your business condition, professional status and quality of life with our work.
For example, if your goal is to capture 20% of the market and you are currently at 8%, we might agree on an outcome that says anywhere between 16% and 24% would be an acceptable sign of heading in the right direction. We might in addition add to that some business awards or recognition and reduce your work hours from 60 hours a week to no more than 45. We don’t think your business success should cost you your quality of life.
